Getting to the Conference Hotel
There are many ways of getting to the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza. We'll try to provide
you with as many alternatives as possible...
If you are flying into Chicago
There are three basic ways you can get to the conference hotel from either O'Hare or Midway airports if you're
not renting a car.
The three ways are listed in ascending order of price, which is also a descending order of the amount of hassle
involved:
- You can save money by taking public transportation
from either O'Hare or Midway to downtown Chicago.
- If the idea of taking public transportation in a large urban environment doesn't thrill you, you
can also take Airport Express from the airports to the hotel.
- If money's no object, you can also take a cab from either airport.
If you are driving into Chicago
There are numerous ways of getting into the Chicagoland area; we've got
directions for you regardless of which way you're coming into Chicago.
A couple things to know if you're driving:
- The hotel is on Orleans Street; Orleans is a one-way street in the northbound direction. So you'll
always be approaching the hotel from the south.
- The parking fee at the hotel can be added onto your room bill. Let the hotel desk know. One of the nice features of
parking at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza is that you have unlimited in/out privileges - you don't have
to pay each time you enter or leave the parking lot.
