Welcome to SIGUCCS '96 in Chicago! This is our opportunity as User Services professionals to share, question, listen and learn about ways to make our organizations more effective and responsive. Read on to find out about location, format, and ways to participate.
Program Agenda
- A day-by-day itinerary of the conference, including information about the pre-conference tutorials, and an alphabetic listing of all papers being presented..
- How to register for the conference and pre-conference tutorials.
- Your way of keeping in touch with your institution while you're at the conference.
- The place to show off your institution's fine publications. Materials from the Education & Training Competition and the Newsletter Competition will be available for perusal.
- What hotel is the conference at, and how does one make reservations?
- Once the hotel reservations are made, how does one actually get to the hotel?
- A Cubs game, and a trip to the Second City theatre.
- Learn a little about the area of Chicago where the conference will be held.
- Find out what the weather will be like before you get here!
- What is this conference about, and who should attend?
- What kinds of presentations are there, and what else is there at the conference?
- There are other ways to contribute to the conference besides presenting a paper.
- These are the people who are responsible for putting the conference together.
- Information on becoming one of the in-crowd.
- In addition to the fall conference, SIGUCCS sponsors a symposium each spring that addresses issues challenging today's computer service managers.
