During the second week of November 1997, almost 400 people attended the 25th annual ACM SIGUCCS User Services Conference for college and university computing services organizations in Monterey, California USA. The conference Web pages are being left online for reference. Make plans to join us for SIGUCCS '98 at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana USA October 25-28, 1998.

 

The Technical Program now includes information on the Opening Plenary which begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Our opening speaker is Richard P. West, Senior Vice Chancellor, Business and Finance for the California State University.

Tuesday's 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Board Plenary includes the topic, Looking Back, Looking Forward, by John Bucher, Jack Esbin, Jane Caviness, and Penny Crane.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Monday and Tuesday technical sessions run from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. On Wednesday the technical sessions are from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. The Closing Session is from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Geraldine MacDonald, Vice President AOLnet Operations, will be speaking on The New Information Age Professional.

The conference's Technical Program promises something for everyone with a variety of topics on:
