Parking & Shuttle Buses

Parking

Parking in the two IMU lots is free for guests of the IMU. Other conferees pay $6 per day, which is one-half the daily rate. Parking passes will be available at the Conference Office. To find a parking spot, arrive at the IMU by 8am .

Three parking garages are within walking distance of the Union (you can locate them on the map of Bloomington). The rates are listed below:

Parking Garage Rate
Poplars (the closest) $1.00 per half hour. Max. $10 per day.
10th & Fee Lane $1.25 per half hour. Max. $12.50 per day
Atwater $1.25 per half hour. Max. $12.50 per day

Shuttle buses between hotels

Shuttle buses will be provided regularly throughout the conference between the IMU and these three alternate hotels: The Courtyard by Mariott, the Hampton Inn, and the Comfort Inn. Shuttle buses will be provided to the Holiday Inn and Days Inn on Sunday only.

We'll post a shuttle bus schedule when it becomes available. You'll also find a schedule in your registration packet when you arrive.

If you are parked on IU property in a valid parking space while conducting official business on campus, the Motorist Assistance Program can help you with:

  • Dead batteries
  • Empty gas tanks
  • Keys locked in cars
  • Changing flat tires
