Publications Competitions Each year ACM/SIGUCCS sponsors competitions to recognize outstanding publications developed at college and university computing centers and to provide SIGUCCS conference participants with an opportunity to review model publications that may help them develop or enhance their own work. We encourage you to select your best work and submit it to the competitions committee. Please see http://www.psu.edu/sig99/compet.html for details. Deadline for submission is September 17.
Computers equipped with appropriate software will be available in the Email Room during the conference so that you can stay in contact with events back home.
Each day after the technical program, BOFs provide an opportunity for informal discussion on topics of your choice. If you would like to suggest a topic in advance, contact Bonnie Alexander (alexander@macalester.edu). To suggest a topic at the conference, fill out a sign-up sheet at the conference office. |
