About ACM/SIGUCCS SIGUCCS (Special Interest Group of University and College Computing Services) is one of 37 Special Interest Groups of the Association for Computing Machinery, and was founded in 1963. SIGUCCS focuses on issues surrounding the support, delivery and management of information technology services in higher education. These include, but are not limited to: network management and support, technical systems support, end-user services and support (help desk, training, documentation, consulting, etc.), administrative and academic services, database management, faculty and curricular support, audio-visual services, facilities design, leadership and management issues, educational technology topics, web services, and others. Our primary goal is to provide a forum for the professional development of individual members through conferences, publications, and other services.
