GALA EVENT

One can't possibly go to Monterey without wanting to see the highly-acclaimed Monterey Bay Aquarium! Even if you've been to the Aquarium before, there's always something new to see!

Our Gala Event this year will take place at the Aquarium on Tuesday evening. We will have the entire Outer Bay Wing all to ourselves! This is the newest wing, which opened in 1996 and is known for its incredible shark exhibit, among others.The many exhibits in this wing depict the marine live found in the open ocean and deep sea areas of the temperate Eastern Pacific. This wing also houses the tallest aquarium in the world!

We'll be having a strolling dinner in the Outer Bay Wing, which will allow us to view the amazing exhibits while partaking of fine food. The Aquarium has agreed to keep their Gift Shop open for us, too, for those of you who want to "fish for new trinkets" for those left behind.

The Aquarium is located on Cannery Row within walking distance of the hotel, for those of you so-inclined, but we'll also have buses available to take people to and from the event.
