About CSMS

ACM/SIGUCCS sponsors the Computer Services Management Symposium every spring. Centrally located at the Marriott Pavilion-- located two blocks from the city's famous Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri-- information technology professionals, representing the full range of higher education institutions, gather to address current issues that challenge today's computer service managers.

The Management Symposium is designed to meet the ever-changing needs of computing management personnel of universities and colleges. This includes the managers and directors of centralized computing and the growing number of departmental or college level computing facilities. Presidents, vice presidents, provosts, vice provosts, directors, associate and assistant directors, senior managers of computing and/or communication services and information resources, library managers, administrative computing managers, and administration and faculty with decision-making or advisory responsibilities regarding delivery of computing, communications, and information services will find this symposium informative and appropriate. This conference is very relevant for new managers, as the informative, informal atmosphere promotes networking with other, sometimes more seasoned, managers.
