| Alfred Essa is Chief Information Office at MIT's Sloan School of Management. As CIO, Essa's responsibility is to provide leadership, coordination and strategic planning for all technology activities at Sloan. His research interests include new open source technologies and enterprise web platforms, particularly for eLearning. At the Institute level, Essa is a member of MIT's Architecture Group (ITAG) and Educational Technology Infrastructure Group. Essa has an undergraduate degree from Haverford College and graduate degrees from Yale University. | |
