Speaker BioLinda Hutchison has worked in computing since 1972, and has held IT User Services management positions in higher education since 1984. In March 2003, she joined Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon as Division Director for Customer Relationship Management. Her areas of responsibility include those work units who most closely "touch" the end user, including the 24x7 Campus Call Center Operators, Telecommunications analysts and technicians, the central IT HelpDesk, Field Technical Services (hardware & software technical assistance at the desktop), Computer Access (account creation and access/privileges management), and computer acquisition and management. Linda has been active in ACM/SIGUCCS since 1984 having presented papers and tutorials, served as the Program Chair, session chair, and produced the conference proceedings, among other activities. She was a member of the SIGUCCS Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002. Linda's undergraduate degree from ISU is in Management and Finance, and her graduate work is in Industrial Education and Technology with an emphasis in Training and Development. |
