Speaker Bio

Phil Isensee is Division Director for Technology Management at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. He oversees voice, video and data infrastructure, three geographically dispersed data centers, systems and data base administration, and desktop infrastructure. A native Oregonian, Isensee previously was at Oregon State University serving most recently as Director of Central Computing. Formerly he was at the University of California at San Francisco and two other land-grant universities. He has presented at SIGUCCS User Services Conferences and a variety of other national events. He serves on the SCT Banner User Advisory Board and was a member of the Educause 2003 Program Committee. His current interests include leadership development, employee selection and IT metrics. An engineer by training, Isensee has spent over 25 years in higher education information technology.
