Speaker Bio

John Wasileski received his PhD in Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University and has held full-time faculty positions and administrative positions at a variety of universities. His interests include Data Warehousing, Data Management, and Project Management.

In his current position as Associate Vice President for Information Technology, John is responsible for all operational aspects for academic and administrative computing and campus networking. The position works closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in developing and implementing the Information Technology Plan for The University and is the line officer responsible for the implementation of that plan.

He is a consultant to numerous organizations in both the private and public sectors. His clients range from national and state governments to universities and private businesses. He also maintains his academic roots as an adjunct professor at the graduate level where he teaches research methods and serves on several dissertation committees.
