I IM therefore I Am: The Changing Face of Campus Communications

Few would argue that the communications sector is one of the fastest changing businesses in modern time. Advances in optical networking, broadband access for the masses, omnipresent 3G cellular and WiFi, along with SIP and online messaging are just a few of the technologies driving rapid change in our global society. But it's not just the technology that changing, it's "how" people chose to communicate that has also fundamentally changed.

This presentation will examine some of the organizational, business, and technological changes that campuses must undergo to continue to serve a rapidly changing and very well "connected" user community.
