From the Airport & Shuttles

The Westin Horton Plaza does not run an airport shuttle but it is a short 8-10 minute cab ride from the airport ($8-$12). You may pick up a cab in front of the Commuter Terminal or at the Ground Transportation Plaza located in front of Terminal 1 and in front of Terminal 2. Maps of the San Diego Airport terminals may be found at the San Diego International Airport web site.

Trains

For Amtrak Tickets and Reservations call Toll-Free 1-800-USARAIL (800-872-7245) For Amtrak Tour and Vacation Information call Toll-Free 1-800-321-8684. The San Diesgo Downtown Train station is located at 1050 Kettner Blvd (at C Street) -- about 9 blocks from the Westion Horton Plaza.

Rental Cars

If you need a rental car, there are several car rental reservation boards located near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. All car rental agencies are off-site and do not have counters inside the terminal facilities. Car rental shuttles — boarded at the Transportation Plazas — will take you to their rental locations.
