CIO Labor Pains - The Pain and Joy after 9 Months on the Job

There is considerable transformation when one takes a new position,
any position. There is an opportunity to listen and learn during
the early stages that can only happen once. As this natural
transformative time comes to a close, routine and mechanics start
to set in and change of all kinds have the typical profile with
which we`re familiar. The speaker will reflect on changes he has
undergone personally and professionally, and discuss the various
organizational and institutional dynamics from the perspective of a
person in the middle of the transformation associated with leading
an IT organization in higher education.
