Located 30 minutes from downtown Victoria and five minutes from Sidney, Victoria International Airport serves daily flights from Vancouver International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma Airport, as well as direct flights from points throughout Canada and the United States. Victoria is well-connected to mainland British Columbia and Washington State by vehicle and passenger ferries and high-speed catamarans. Each day, dozens of ferries cross the straits, granting breathtaking views of the rocky coastline, forested islands, inlets and marine wildlife. Scheduled motorcoach service is available for travel from Seattle, Vancouver including Vancouver International Airport to Victoria, as well as to and from other Vancouver Island destinations. Motorcoach travel off the island includes ferry service. Rail and bus service is offered between Victoria and locations throughout Vancouver Island with several stops along the way. More...

For those of you who will be traveling to SMS 2010 from outside of Canada, you will need to have a current passport. You may visit the State Department's passport services web site to learn more.

Visa Support Letters

The Association for Computing Machinery does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM sponsored conferences. We can however issue a visa support letter.
