Title: Laughing, Learning and Leading

A variety of theoretical and empirical studies show that individuals can use humor not only to increase learning comprehension but also enhance leadership. This presentation reviews the research behind the use of humor to enhance both learning and leading in a variety of settings. By grounding the work in research studies, the interactive presentation provides a theoretical model and current active processing to impart practical examples demonstrating the truth about how to integrate humor into your life. Through the use of effective research and brain-based concepts, the presentation examines eight main concepts of using humor. A key theme that will be addressed is the role technology plays in the process. Learn how easy it is to use stories, jokes, and technology to increase learning and enhance leadership abilities
